How to work with the “Custom Template” mode?

"Your template" — a mode for sending requests divided into two roles: user and system, while the contents of both roles are set by you, without any changes from the program.

Sounds complicated? Now we’ll explain :)

In GPT, as in other AIs, there is a division into roles. In this case, it's System - main instructions, and User — input data.

Let's say you want to write stories, not articles, using AI. You can, of course, use the mode RAW mode, and enter in the input file:

Write a story in the genre "Fantasy". Write one chapter for each answer.
Write a story in the genre "Horror". Write one chapter for each answer.
Write a story in the genre "Detective". Write one chapter for each answer.

Obviously, what is in italics is repeated. The “Custom template” mode was made to simplify a person’s work in this case.

Instead of the above example you could:

  • Activate “Custom Template” mode
  • Go to the “Processing” tab -> “Your template” -> “Text of your template” (this is System), and enter “Write a story in the genre which the user will specify. Write one chapter for each answer.":Parameter in ClipAI 'Text of your template'. Here you can specify any of your actions that the AI will need to perform.
“Write one chapter in each answer” in this case, it is advisable to specify that the AI correctly takes into account the number of chapters and writes them as large as possible. The context of previous chapters will be taken into account.
  • In the input file (this is User) indicate:
    Fantasy Horror Detective

And thus, save your time and simplify your work.
